Clyde Bolton

Clyde Bolton is the most widely read writer in Alabama. He is the author of 16 books and his award winning columns appeared several times a week in The Birmingham News before his retirement in August, 2001. His storied four-decade newspaper career also had stops in Anniston and Montgomery.

We are proud to have published Nancy Swimmer: A Story of the Cherokee Nation. It was named #1 on the area's best-sellers list and Clyde's induction into the Cherokee tribe of Northeast Alabama as an honorary member, made this his favorite.

Clyde Bolton's other titles include the following:

Lost Sunshine
And Now I See
Ivy
Water Oaks
Talladega Speedway
The Alabama Gang
Remembering Davey
Silver Britches
They Wore Crimson
The Basketball Tide
Bolton's Best Stories of Auto Racing
Unforgettable Days in Southern Football
War Eagle
The Crimson Tide
Turn Left On Green
Stop the Presses

We always have signed copies of Clyde Bolton's books, and we also have a few of the limited edition leatherbounds.

Rick Bragg in the Movies

Even though you weren’t able to attend the September 26, 2011, sold-out world premiere of Alabama’s Rick Bragg: Out of the Dirt, here’s your opportunity to view the entire movie at home, as well as much bonus footage not seen in the original documentary.

Listen in on distinguished Alabamaians, local friends and family tell inside tales on Rick as a child and award-winning best-selling author. Rick also gives his life’s philosophy in many scenes. Find out about his mother’s poetry; hear his aunt tell of dressing him as a girl when he was a tot. If ever there was a priceless gift, this is it.

You may order the two DVD (22.95) set through our secure, encrypted link Here

We also have signed copies of every edition of every Rick Bragg title ever written. You may view those by Clicking Here
