Helen Ellis

Helen Ellis was raised in Tuscaloosa, and her master's degree from New York University in fiction writing has not tarnished her ability to craft a stunning literary southern tale. Her wickedly funny Eating the Cheshire Cat earned a massive signing bonus with Scribner, and the publisher was not disappointed as the book was selected by the independent booksellers of America as a Book Sense top pick.

Helen currently lives in New York City, but we keep hoping she'll return to her roots.
