W. E. B. Griffin

Bill Butterworth, known to his millions of readers as W.E.B. Griffin, lives in Fairhope. He was named Writer of the Year in 1982 by the Alabama Library Association. Butterworth or Griffin or Alex Baldwin or Weeb Beech or Walker E. Blake or whichever of the aliases he has used to write more than a hundred books, is far and away the most prolific and biggest selling Alabama author of all time.
