Daniel Wallace is a native of Birmingham where he graduated from Altamont School. He has published short stories in numerous magazines. His first novel, Big Fish, was selected by the independent booksellers of America as a Book Sense book. It was adapted into an acclaimed motion picture directed by Tim Burton.
