Her highly acclaimed novel, The Favorite Daughter, underscores the power of memory and explores the meaning of family in the face of a dementia diagnosis.
The event will include a wine and cheese reception with the author, as well as introductory remarks by Miller Piggott, executive director of Alzheimer's of Central Alabama.
Tickets may be purchased at www.FoundersPlacePresents.eventbrite.com. They cost $35 and include a signed copy of The Favorite Daughter.
