POTLIKKER PAPERS: A FOOD HISTORY OF THE MODERN SOUTH is just what the sub title suggests, the region's past, present and future told through what we eat, how it is grown, prepared and served. Entwined in the biography of this vital part of our country are such diverse folks as Martin Luther King, Colonel Sanders and Paul Prudhomme.
