THE WALL OF BIRDS features hundreds of gorgeous paintings and drawings of birds both extant and extinct, illustrating their diversity and evolution over the millenia. These photos are paired with insights from the artist about her approach to their design, as well as narratives about the history of the birds themselves.

JANE KIM (shown below from our Wall of Fame) is an artist, scientific illustrator, and founder of InkDwell Studio. She attended the Rhode Island School of Design and then Cal State Monterey Bay, where she received a master's certificate in science illustration. She is the creator of the Migrating Mural campaign, a series of public installations that highlight wildlife along migration corridors they share with people. THAYER WALKER (shown below from our Wall of Fame) is the co-founder of Ink Dwell, a studio that uses art to inspire people to love and appreciate the natural world.
